Renewal fees - $48.99 became $60.50?

My .digital domain came up for renewal and I was shown a button to “Renew for $48.99”. However, when I clicked through to the stripe payments page I was billed USD 60.50. Oops.

What’s my recourse? Please let me know.

Hi @ajithn. Sorry about that. This is a known bug in the renewal price calculator. 60.50 should be the correct value, but I went ahead and refunded you the difference (11.51) because this is confusing. Let me know if you have any further concerns.

You also inspired me to finally fix the bug. Should be good now. Thanks!

Thanks Anders! That’s all for now.

I just got through with my ISP cancelling my account of good standing without my approval during a phone number port because they claimed it was an FCC regulation, a technicality, and also simultaneously using that psycho quasi-interdimensional package $#|+, where they take away services and then charge more for the others, either the price is the price, or the price is not, oh American physical monopolies, when you’re obsolete you will look back and wish you had treated your customers right.

Anyway, Why is there a renewal fee, who chose this domain, why is it mine I wanted to sign up for something free with intention to maybe get upsold, but it’s a bit jarring seeing a price like this and a deadline so soon.
